Vinyl is hipper than ever
It may seem like decades ago that vinyl dominated the music world, but the vinyl record has recently become very popular again. The first vinyl record was even released in 1931. Unfortunately, the arrival of the CD almost killed the sale of vinyl. Now that vinyl is becoming increasingly popular, new artists are also increasingly releasing their work on vinyl. A beautiful record naturally requires a beautiful album cover, and most record covers are true works of art. That is why it is a shame to leave them piled up in the cupboard. Many people wonder: how can I hang an album (vinyl) on the wall? That is why we have listed five tips for you.
1. Use a laser level
Before you start, it is good to have the right tools at hand. At Sticky Vinyl we are not fans of drilling holes, so we have come up with a method where this is no longer necessary. Thanks to the strong tape on the back of the Sticky's you can easily hang albums on the wall. Of course you want your record sleeves to hang straight. You can get a long way by feeling, but you will quickly notice small deviations. A handy tool for this is a spirit level. We use a spirit level with laser, with which you can project a straight line on the wall. This makes hanging even easier. Definitely recommended as far as we are concerned!
2. Combine endlessly with colors
Each album cover is a small work of art. With the different images and colours you can make nice combinations and give each room its own style. We found a nice example of this on the website of Ophon , where they only chose red records, which makes for a nice whole. With our Sticky's you can add something extra to your vinyl wall. They are available in different colours, so there is always a Sticky that suits your style. This allows you to continue combining endlessly.

3. Easy to change
In addition to giving your record wall a unique look, you also want to keep using your records. We noticed that changing albums with existing hanging methods is often not easy. Opening dozens of clips and dirty fingerprints on the glass are not ideal. That is why we thought about how we could make this as smooth as possible. Thanks to the open side of our Sticky's you can easily slide out your record album. This way you can put your favorite record on the turntable in no time.
4. Protect your vinyl from sunlight
Vinyl does not do well with sunlight. We therefore advise not to hang your record wall in direct sunlight. Your record player should also not be in full sunlight. Sunlight can warp your record, making them unusable. It can also cause the record sleeves to fade, which is something you want to avoid.
5. Hang your vinyl albums on the wall with Sticky's!
You are of course looking for a hanging system that meets the requirements mentioned above. Our most important tip for hanging your vinyl on the wall is: use our Sticky's! With our Sticky's you can hang all your favorite vinyl records on the wall in no time. You don't have to drill and they are cheaper than comparable hanging systems. The Sticky's are available in black and white, so you can choose which one suits your record and wall best. This way you can turn your bare wall into a true work of art in no time.
